Chris Packham

Chris Packham is one of the UK’s best-known wildlife presenters and activists. He has spent decades sharing his passion for the natural world, from presenting ‘The Really Wild Show’ early in his career to becoming a long-standing presenter of the BBC’s Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch programmes. His latest BBC series, “Evolution”, was called a “TV miracle” and the Guardian said “David Attenborough’s successor is well and truly crowned”. Chris is one of the founders of both Wild Justice and the People’s Emergency Briefing.

Eva and Emily emailed Chris inviting him to attend their original harvest mouse release in summer 2025 and, to their delight, he said yes. His attendance led to the project being featured on many news outlets and then on Springwatch.

Chris said: “It’s so inspirational when young people think of an idea and then make it happen. It’s so important. And what I like about young people doing things is that you think clearly, speak clearly and you get things done. Top work, Eva and Emily, it’s a really brilliant, brilliant project.”
